Welcome to Camp Discovery at Ascension!

​

We are so excited to have you join us for a summer experience open to the entire community! Camp Discovery is a place where children can learn, grow, and explore through hands-on activities in our STEM Lab, Art Studio, and Outdoor Classroom. Each day is filled with creativity, curiosity, and plenty of summer fun.

Campers will enjoy:

  • A safe, nurturing, faith-centered environment

Counselor-in-Training Program

Middle school students (incoming 6th–outgoing 8th graders) are invited to build leadership skills in our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program. CITs learn how to guide younger campers, assist staff, and develop confidence in a supportive setting.

​

Registration Options

We offer flexible scheduling to meet your family’s needs. Please select your preferred weeks and days on the registration form.

  • Full Week: $350 

  • MWF: $210

  • TTH: $140

Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Extended Care (included in fee): 7:00–9:00 AM & 3:30–5:30 PM

Payment required in full at the time of registration. Refunds offered until April 30th not including $100 deposit.

Unicorns vs. Dragons | June 15th - 19th 
A week of imagination and friendly competition as campers choose a side and participate in games, crafts, and challenges inspired by magical unicorns and mighty dragons. Creativity and teamwork take center stage as fantasy worlds come to life.

​

Mud Week - Celebrating National Mud Day | June 22nd - 26th
Campers will dig in and get messy during this fun-filled week celebrating National Mud Day. Activities include sensory play, outdoor games, and muddy challenges that encourage exploration, laughter, and hands-on fun.

Vacation Bible School  | June 29th- July 2nd 
A faith-filled week focused on Bible stories, worship, crafts, games, and meaningful discussions. Campers will grow in their faith while building friendships and learning how to live out Christian values in everyday life.

Performing Arts Week | July 6th - 10th
Campers will explore acting, singing, movement, and stage presence as they work together to prepare a play. The week concludes with a performance where campers showcase their creativity and hard work for family and friends.

Olympics Week  | July 13th - 17th
Campers will experience the excitement of the Olympics through team-based games, athletic challenges, and sportsmanship activities. Emphasis is placed on cooperation, perseverance, and having fun while cheering one another on.

Cooking Week | July 20th - 24th
A hands-on culinary week where campers will learn basic cooking skills and make their own snacks. The week wraps up with a friendly bake-off, giving campers the chance to share their creations and celebrate their kitchen accomplishments.

Star Wars Week | July 27th - 31st
Campers will journey to a galaxy far, far away through themed games, crafts, and challenges inspired by Star Wars. Teamwork, creativity, and imagination guide campers as they take on missions and adventures.

​

Camping Week | August 3rd - 7th 
Campers will enjoy classic camp activities including outdoor games, nature exploration, and camp-style crafts. The week concludes with a special Ascension campout on the final day, creating lasting memories and a meaningful end to camp.

STEP 1:

Please complete this form with your information, along with the information for each of the students that will be attending. After you have completed the form, you will proceed to step 2 for payment.

After completing this form, please select the weeks and registration type below and checkout. 

Parents are expected to pick up children at their scheduled time. We close at 5:30, afterwhich there is an overtime charge of $10.00 for each 5-minute increment, or portion thereof if a child is picked up late.

Schedule changes- one schedule change is at no charge. More than one schedule change will be charged a $50 fee per change. 

STEP 2:

Select the week(s) of camp below that you would like your student(s) to attend. Once selecting the weeks, you will have the ability to select the registration option that fits your schedule: Full Week, MWF or T+Th. Select the quantity and names of students in your household that are attending and add to cart. 

STEP 3:

Checkout! Once you have paid for your registration and submitted the form in step 1, we will be able to confirm your student's spots at Camp Discovery!
