Weekly Chapel & Worship Arts

We like to say our week flows in and out of chapel which happens each Wednesday morning, right in the middle of our school week. Chapel is a time to remember who and Whose we are. It is for students and families, and we are also blessed to have church staff and members join us. Our “Chapel Buddy” program pairs older students with younger ones. Buddies sit together during chapel, and this creates a special mentorship between students. 

 

Worship Arts is a weekly class taken by our older students that prepares them to lead chapel. Worship Arts explores the heart of worship and what it means to be a leader and creator in the area of worship. Students participate in a variety of activities that include song leading, cantoring, leading the liturgy, acolyting, ushering, creating visuals for worship, liturgical dance, instrumental performance, performing short dramas, and tech crew.
