Faith Life
Faith life at Ascension Lutheran Elementary School permeates all we do because it is the lens by which we see. We find God in every class and every subject. We live by virtues such as compassion, humility, gentleness, patience, joy, forgiveness, and love.
Our school is strongly rooted in the Lutheran tradition but welcomes students and families of various faith backgrounds. Many of our teachers have a background in the Lutheran tradition and attend a Lutheran church, and all of our teachers care passionately about modeling life in Jesus Christ. Every school morning, our teachers and staff gather together to begin the day in prayer.
Each school year, Ascension Lutheran Elementary School chooses a Bible verse to guide us. For the 2021-2022 school year, the theme verse is:
